The Homepage - supported DD tags |

I've probably missed a couple here...
Two notes: If it doesn't work on the template, it doesn't work on the template, regardless of whether you have the homepage activated or not. Most of the 'homepage' tags just do not work on the template, such as the Recommended Comics list. That only works on the Homepage. HOWEVER, There are two homepage tags that DO work with the template, whether you've activated the homepage or not: DESCRIPTION and CHAPTERS. Since you DON'T have to activate the homepage to use the DESCRIPTION and CHAPTERS tags on your normal template, that means if you want to have chapters, but not activate the homepage, you can do that. (Some people should be happy to hear that). Remember it will show up on every page of your archive since it's on your template. However, the NAV tags simply don't work on the homepage. So (for now anyway?) you won't be able to activate your homepage and get it to work exactly like your normal archive pages. Some of these tags you can "mix and match" ... if you have your homepage enabled but want people to be able to vote (and not just comment) on it, you can replace the LATEST BLOG COMMENT FORM with the COMMENTS FORM tag. (Don't replace the other two blog tags though, they won't work on the homepage. However they do pretty much the same thing so it's no big deal.) In the "customization" topic I have some comparisons of pages I've done with different tags.
